Business Development Manager

UK-based (Remote, with monthly in-person meetings)

This is a new key role at the point of take-off for an industry-disrupting company in the early stages of expansion. It is a rare opportunity for a self-starting technical sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit. As first to join our new sales department, you will set the pace and have the opportunity to grow into a more senior role.

Interpac Ltd is an engineering company specialising in innovative solutions for the corrugated board industry. Our revolutionary cold corrugator is a patented world first that is truly disruptive. Backed by private equity, our compact, energy-efficient systems deliver short-run, flexible and sustainable packaging at scale.

Unlike traditional equipment, Interpac’s machines use no steam or heat, significantly reducing energy consumption and lowering environmental impact. This unique approach reduces cost and provides greater flexibility - all while aligning with today’s sustainability expectations.

What’s the role?

The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Founder and CEO, taking ownership of new business development nationally and internationally, with an emphasis on European and North American markets. This is a strategic and hands-on role with a complex, consultative sales process involving longer sales cycles and engagement with senior stakeholders.

You’ll work with a mixture of end users and selected channel partners, driving growth while representing Interpac with confidence and credibility in every conversation.

Ultimately, this role offers the opportunity to drive significant international growth by leading the strategic sale of advanced capital machinery to key customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

* Build and convert a pipeline of high-value opportunities, including qualification of existing target customer list.
* Engage directly with senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers
* Run the full sales process from lead generation and meetings to proposals and negotiation
* Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored, compelling solutions
* Support and manage a small number of distribution or channel partners
* Represent the company at trade shows, events and customer site visits
* Maintain accurate CRM records and report regularly on progress

What we’re looking for

* Strong experience in international B2B sales, ideally capital equipment, packaging machinery or engineered products.
* Proven success in complex, consultative selling environments with longer sales cycles
* Comfortable engaging and influencing C-suite stakeholders
* Commercially sharp with the gravitas and confidence to operate at senior level
* Technically minded, with the ability to quickly grasp engineered systems and communicate their value clearly and credibly to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Highly self-motivated, with the discipline to work independently in a remote setup
* Adaptable and collaborative, comfortable in a fast-moving SME environment
* Willing to travel internationally and visit HQ when required
* A truly distinctive product that delivers real value to customers and supports environmental goals
* Well-defined pathway to evolve into a Head of or Director-level leadership role
* A remote-first company with a collaborative, UK-based team
* Future potential for equity discussions, subject to strong performance
