Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities · Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the Key Stage 1 curriculum requirements. · Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports all pupils’ learning and development. · Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, using assessments to inform planning and next steps. · Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders to ensure a consistent approach. · Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support home learning and pupil progress. · Participate fully in school life, including staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
