Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who’s committed to empowering children and families to reach their full potential? Do you have a genuine passion for combining clinical excellence with creativity, working in a space where therapy is as joyful as it is meaningful? If so, we have an exciting opportunity that awaits you!
For over a decade, Happy Dots Therapy Services forChildren has been a leading provider of Paediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services in the Newcastle region. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive through personalised, evidence‑based interventions delivered in a fun, play‑based environment.
Our culture is warm, collaborative, and inclusive. We’re passionate about empowering our team just as much as our clients – providing structured career pathways, clinical mentorship, leadership opportunities, and the flexibility to design a role that supports your professional goals.
About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality, evidence‑informed, and family‑centred occupational therapy services to support children aged 0–18 years with developmental delays and disabilities.
You’ll use your clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive assessments, tailored therapy plans, and innovative intervention services across clinic, community, and educational settings to help children achieve meaningful goals, build skills, and grow in confidence. Operating within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work in close collaboration with speech pathologists, support staff, families and their care team to achieve holistic progress and lasting results.
The role requires strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to independently manage a diverse caseload. You’ll be responsible for producing high quality reports and developing practical, engaging resources tailored to client needs.
To support continuous improvement and career progression, therapists are provided with regular clinical supervision, team‑based learning, performance frameworks, and ongoing professional development.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where your experience is valued, respected, and nurtured.
