Senior Health Care Assistant
Band 3 - £28,011 £30,230 pro rata
Plus £1,406 Distant Island Allowance pro rata

* We seek to recruit to a Senior Healthcare Assistant to work rotational shifts within the nursing team in the Isle of Barra giving care in the Hospital (3 inpatients/Emergency room/Outpatient) and Community (CTAC/Palliative Care).
* Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multi-disciplinary team. However, training can be given for the advanced skills required within this role.
Qualifications & Requirements
* The successful candidates will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full-time employment or up to six months for part-time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
* The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
