We are looking for Senior Support Workers to join our Community Care Team. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be part of a fantastic team working in an exceptional Domiciliary Care service.
Reporting into the Service Manager, the Senior Support Worker is responsible for helping to lead the staff team, advocating and providing person centred care and supporting our staff team to perform their wide range of duties appropriately and effectively, ensuring they can deliver the best possible care and support for the people we support.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a staff team to provide person-centred care.
* Advocate for people supported and ensure high standards of care.
* Support staff to perform duties effectively and safely.
* Communicate effectively at all levels and work independently when needed (e.g., taking sole responsibility for a service or area during a shift).
Senior Support Workers are required to work 37.5 hours a week.
Qualifications
* QCF level 3 qualification is ideal; if not qualified, you should be working towards QCF level 3.
* Proven experience in care is essential.
* A valid Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
* Commitment to providing an excellent level of care for vulnerable people with mental health, autism and learning disabilities.
* Proficient in written and reading English with a good standard of numeracy.
* Knowledgeable about equal opportunities and how these affect employees and people we support.
