The role:
The DTSG Hardware Deployment Team:
As an ICT Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and deployment of ICT hardware and software across healthcare facilities. Your work ensures that systems are correctly set up, secure, and ready for use by clinical and administrative staff.
Responsibilities
* New PC deployment including software and printer installation
* Replacement of aged PCs
* Retrieval and decommission of IT hardware
* Other logistical duties including a requirement for a current Australian driver’s license

Details of appointment:
2 Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call as required), working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. These positions are located in the North of Tasmania. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $66,049 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Position features:
Appointment to this role may require the occupant to rotate across various Health ICT units. From time to time, some duties may be undertaken outside of normal working hours, travel between sites, and potential intrastate travel.
