Salary: Depending on Experience

Hours: 37.5 hours a week

Location: Rotation between all three sites: 24 Portland Place (W1B 1LU), 55 Moorgate (EC2R 6BH) and 33 Grosvenor Place (SW1X 7HY)

Contract: Full time, permanent

What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Senior I Radiographer - General Radiography to join our Imaging team, with a competitive salary range on offer, depending on experience.
This is a full time, permanent role with the following shift patterns across 3 London sites on rotational basis:

12.5 hour shifts over 7 days - day or nights or week of 7.5 hour shifts - dependent on which site

Shift schedule example: 7:15am - 8:15pm/6:30pm -7:30am

The Senior I Radiographer General Radiography, assists with the running of the X-ray and Fluoroscopy Services; supervising technical and clerical personnel; developing the service to fit with changing demands; working as part of a team and under the overall guidance of the Clinical Manager of Imaging Services to ensure the highest standard of service to patients, consultants and visitors. Acting in accordance with the standards of conduct, performance and ethics set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the role will assist in perform analysis to evaluate and create new processes and operating procedures, revises procedures on a continuous improvement basis to achieve maximum efficiency.

What will your duties include?
Develops Caregivers with effective coaching, counselling and mentoring. Plans and implements education and training programs.
Assist Radiography Leads and management team to develop new and maintain existing Imaging Service policies, procedures and protocols; to reflect recognised best practice and are practical in application.
Monitors, evaluates and reports status of the X-ray and Fluoroscopy departmental operations. Acts as a liaison internally and externally.
Contribute to analysis and management studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the department
Use good radiographic techniques and modify as clinically appropriate. Have the technical ability to manipulate a range of equipment, whilst maintaining patient comfort and adequately communicate with patients and colleagues to ensure the safe movement of patients into imaging position. Use appropriate touch techniques to locate external bony landmarks.

What we need from you?
Minimally a BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required
Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration required
Certified Radiation Protection Supervisor desired
Ability to prioritise workload in a complex environment and supervise members of the team, ensuring high quality, safe and effective patient care
Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiology knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience
