Job Description Based at our Cyber Centre of Excellence in Maidenhead, working on a hybrid basis. It's an exciting time to join Ultra I&C's Cyber business, where we have a newly created opportunity to become an integral part of our Sales team as Export Sales Manager. IMPORTANT: candidates must be able to obtain and maintain SC level security clearance. As Export Sales Manager at Ultra Cyber, you will play a crucial role in our success by being responsible for promoting and selling our MAXAM Secure Communications capability to international customers. Your responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of winning offers, and identification of international opportunities for selling our MAXAM suite of devices, both directly and by establishing channel partners. You will own these direct and indirect customer relationships. Additionally, you’ll contribute to go - to - market strategy, marketing requirements forecasting and tracking future opportunities. You will feed in customer demands and competitive knowledge to ensure that Ultra’s MAXAM suite remains at the forefront of secure communications. Key Responsibilities: Manage the production of international offers, including parallel bids, into international customers for the MAXAM product suite. Establish relationships with key customers internationally to qualify their demands for MAXAM - like capability. Capture and develop appropriate sales channels partners to efficiently address regional sales and delivery. Lead the preparation of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders issued by international customers. Identify opportunities to sell the MAXAM suite internationally including upsells. Work with UK Export control to ensure the correct permissions are in place to sell internationally. Work with Commercial to ensure the correct due diligence is conducted on our customers. Work with marketing providers to ensure the correct events are covered and artefacts are in place to promote the suite at events and on-line. Work with IRAD and the MAXAM Product owner to feed into the MAXAM Product roadmap with competitive intelligence and information on future customer demands. Work with the MAXAM Product owner to provide international demonstration of our capabilities. Work with the business to develop clear win strategies and ensure win themes are clear and compelling for the MAXAM suite. Feed into the bid process and represent BD at gate approval reviews. Assessing and addressing technical and commercial risks related to bids with the relevant commercial, finance and project teams. Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Essential: Successful product sales experience, ideally to a defence and security sector. Experience in operating internationally to achieve product sales, primarily over NATO and 5E ( ex USA ) but not exclusively. Experience in establishing effective channel partner relationships. Knowledge of NATO nations procurement processes. Knowledge of secure communications devices and how they are used in a military context. Ability to maintain a CRM based pipeline of opportunities. A passion for taking part in competitive business processes. Resilient under pressure with demonstrable a bility to prioritise and manage workload to the demand of the business. A confident communicator with proven ability to build rapport quickly and maintain strong professional relationships. Skilled in stakeholder management across all levels of the orga n isation with demonstrable a bility to work c ollaborative ly across functions. Exceptional presentation skills to explain complex bids to senior executives for decisions to be made. This role will be based in our Maidenhead, Berkshire office, with travel internationally as needed (approx. 30–50% of time) to meet clients, attend meetings and events, and support contract negotiations. UK Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. Desired Attributes: A background and understanding of the secure communications industry and related technical disciplines. Ideally you will have been through formal training, for example Shipley and/or APMP Foundation (Practitioner or Professional level desirable). APMP Capture Practitioner desirable.
