Your new role
As a Financial Accounting Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of financial and statutory accounting, treasury functions, taxation services, and financial controls. You will manage a team of four direct reports, and oversee annual accounts, treasury management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT, andmon Good Funds. The role requires ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and best practice requirements while driving improvements that support organisational objectives. You will take responsibility for preparing and delivering statutory financial statements, managing external audit processes, and overseeing treasury management policy, cash flow, investments, and debt financing. In addition, you will provide expert technical advice to senior management andmittees, build effective partnerships across the organisation, and lead continuous development of financial systems and reporting frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in statutory accounting, treasury management, or financial management withinplex organisations. Strong technical skills in financial accounting and statutory reporting are essential, along with proven leadership ability to motivate and develop teams through change. You will have excellentmunication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience in managing relationships with auditors and external advisers,bined with a proactive, customer-focused approach and amitment to continuous improvement, will be key to your success. Above all, you will demonstrate high standards of personal and professional integrity.
