Working as an Operational Resilience Officer for a well-established financial services business with Platinum Investors in People accreditation, you would be part of a values driven, award-winning business passionate about creating a flexible and inclusive environment.
We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative individual to support the continued development and implementation of the Operational Resilience Framework. This role is a key part of the first line of defence and will work closely with the Head of Operational Resilience and stakeholders across the business.

Duties:
* Develop and Enhance the Resilience Framework: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Operational Resilience Framework to ensure it remains robust, effective and aligned with business needs.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Support the Head of Operational Resilience in building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly resilience reports. Help stakeholders interpret data, identify variances and take corrective actions to strengthen controls and reduce risk.
* Policy and Standards Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of operational resilience guidelines, policies and standards. Ensure consistent application across the Group in collaboration with the Head of Operational Resilience.
* Awareness and Education: Promote resilience awareness and support education initiatives across the Group as the framework continues to mature.
* Risk Event Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of risk events to assess their impact on overall resilience and critical business services.
* Support Scenario Testing: Assist in the planning and execution of operational resilience activities such as scenario testing to validate and improve our resilience capabilities.

·Regulatory Awareness: A solid understanding of the regulatory landscape relevant to the business and how it impacts operational resilience.
·Strong Interpersonal Skills: Confident engaging with colleagues across all levels of the business, building trust and encouraging open, transparent communication.
·Excellent Organisational Abilities: Able to effectively manage time, prioritise multiple tasks and deliver against objectives with minimal supervision.
·Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of interpreting complex information, identifying key actions and potential vulnerabilities and supporting decision-making through clear analysis.
·Communication Excellence: Strong written communication and report writing skills, with the ability to clearly present information to stakeholders and senior committees.
·Data-Driven Thinking: Comfortable working with data and management information (MI) to assess the organisation’s resilience posture and inform reporting.
·Stakeholder Support and Challenge: Skilled in working with stakeholders to uncover potential vulnerabilities through effective questioning and engagement.
