Responsibilities
* Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
* Work effectively as part of a small team and lead the team when required.
* Be responsible for a vehicle and carry out the required daily defect checks and reporting procedures.
* Carry out frontline service manual roles within the Street Cleansing Service, including litter picking, fly tip removal, service public bins, and other manual duties.
* Work outdoors throughout the year in all weather conditions and maintain a level of physical fitness for heavy manual lifting (e.g., fly tip clearance).
* Work with a wide range of hand tools and small powered tools as required.
* Hold a full UK driving licence and drive a variety of vehicles as required.
* Complete daily checklists and paperwork and work from written instructions.
* Be willing to undertake any necessary training within the post.

* Must hold a full UK driver\'s licence and be familiar with various vehicles.
* Ability to load heavy items onto vehicles.
* Able to complete and work from written instruction as required.

Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum + 10% Band B unsocial hours payment. Hours: 42 hours over 4 on 4 off shifts inclusive of weekends & bank holidays.
