We're looking for an experienced Ruminant Nutritionist Sales Advisor to join a growing team. This role combines technical nutrition expertise with commercial responsibility, helping farmers improve herd performance while growing a strong customer base.
Location: Carlisle (field-based)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm
Salary: Depending on experience
This is an exciting position to join a company who is a leading supplier of animal feed and going from strength to strength in the industry.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing high-quality nutrition advice across dairy and beef systems
* Formulating rations and improving herd performance using farm data
* Managing and growing your own portfolio of customers
* Identifying and converting new business opportunities
* Building strong on-farm relationships and delivering measurable results
* Mentoring junior team members and sharing technical knowledge
* Great customer service
* Ability to handle situations professionally, effectively and proactively
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in ruminant nutrition and livestock systems
* Strong commercial awareness and account management experience
* Confident advising farmers and influencing on-farm decisions
* Practical, hands-on understanding of farm operations
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Full UK driving licence
