Marks Sattin are currently working with an FMCG company to assist in the recruitment of a Finance Project Manager. This role will suit someone from an Accountancy background who has exposure to running Finance projects, enjoys that work and would like to pursue a career in it.
Responsibilities;
Responsible for providing support to diverse Business Projects as a key stakeholder from Finance Systems to ensure successful delivery.
Support duties include: identifying risks and creating mitigation plans; collaborating with process owners and technology teams to deliver the agreed solution; ensuring regular communication and buy-in from senior Finance stakeholders; exploring synergies with other projects and processes across the Finance function, facilitating system integration where appropriate.
Skills;
● A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent
● Competency in Financial Accounting and Management Systems and databases
● A broad understanding of the Finance function Skills
● Communication skills - to be able to talk to both technology and finance
● An ability to deliver in a complex and fast paced environment
● Excellent analytical and numerical skills
● Excellent Process Mapping skills
● Previous experience of delivery of small system / business change projects
