Job Description
Role: Senior 2D/3D Creative Concept & Production Artist/Animator
Location: Leeds
Salary: up to £65,000
I’m currently working with an innovative software development company that specialises in mobile-first slot and casino games, and they’re on the lookout for a Senior 2D/3D Artist/Animator to join their growing creative team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a visually-driven creative who thrives on turning game briefs into engaging, production-ready experiences. You’ll have ownership from the initial concept stage—developing mood boards, storyboards, and art direction—through to animating polished 2D/3D assets and collaborating across the full production pipeline.
It’s a varied, fast-paced role with plenty of creative freedom, and a chance to contribute to games enjoyed by millions across mobile platforms.
If you're excited by concept work, love working across different styles and genres, and want to shape the visual identity of future games—this could be the one.
What they’re looking for:
• A strong portfolio showcasing 2D/3D work (ideally in gaming or slot content)
• Proven experience turning briefs into visually led concepts, moodboards, and production-ready assets
• Proficiency with tools like Spine, Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, Blender
• Confident with animations, lighting, shading, rigging and optimisation workflows
• Versatility across a range of styles: realistic, stylised, fantasy, sci-fi, etc.
• Understanding of game asset pipelines and performance standards
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced tools for streamlining asset creation
• Strong communication and feedback-handling skills
• Passion for gaming and digital art
What’s on offer:
• Competitive salary + benefits
• Hybrid working (Leeds-based studio)
• Creative freedom with ownership over concept-to-production pipeline
• Diverse projects and art styles
• Collaborative, close-knit creative team
• Tech-forward studio using modern tools and workflows
• Supportive environment that encourages innovation and experimentation
• Opportunity to make a real impact on visual game direction
If you’re a concept-to-production artist who loves both the idea phase and the polish phase, feel free to ping over your CV—or just drop me a message if you'd like to hear more.
I'm also working on a couple of other creative roles in gaming if this isn’t quite the one for you!
