MEP Section Engineer – Heathrow Airport

We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Section Engineer to join a leading main contractor delivering a high-profile project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, fast-paced aviation infrastructure within a secure and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) works within your assigned section
Oversee subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, and architectural teams
Review and manage drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements
Ensure compliance with Heathrow Airport standards, project specifications, and UK regulations
Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes
Monitor quality, progress, and cost control within your section
Promote and maintain high health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
Proven experience as an MEP or Section Engineer with a main contractor
Experience on large infrastructure projects (aviation, rail, healthcare, or major commercial preferred)
Strong understanding of MEP coordination and construction sequencing
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work within a highly regulated environment
Heathrow Airport experience or security clearance (desirable but not essential)
