Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a world-leading technology organisation as they continue to grow in size. Thepany is offering the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the accounting operations and play a critical part in thepany’s ongoing success.
Your new role
1. Processing invoices, matching them to purchase orders.
2. Setting up payments, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time.
3. Manage the finance mailbox, answer supplier queries and maintain effectivemunication with suppliers.
4. Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring that all outstanding balances are accurate and up to date.
5. Managing bi-monthly payment runs.
6. Assist in preparing management accounts and supporting month-end procedures.
7. Support the preparation of grant claims and assist with balance sheet reconciliations to ensure that thepany’s financial position is correctly represented.
8. Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Previous experience in an accounts assistant role is preferable but not required.
10. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
11. Experience in Microsoft Excel is required.
12. Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero is preferable.
13. Clear and effectivemunication skills are crucial for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
14. Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 (Based on experience)
15. Hybrid working: 2 days in office
