Our Health in Justice service line is now expanding into non-Custodial healthcare, a person-centred approach delivered via a solid and consolidated infrastructure aimed to assess individuals’ mental health and neurodiversity requirements, to redirect them to the most appropriate channel. We have an exciting opportunity for a Crown Court Practitionerto join our team in West Yorkshire.
Hours -Monday to Friday; 8am - 6pm
Salary -This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £49,848 to £55,996 depending on experience
Location- Bradford Crown Court

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As aCrown CourtPractitioner,your responsibilities will vary. You will
* The role will involve an assessment of need of service users who come into contact with the criminal justice system and appearing at the local Crown Court. The assessment will focus on the mental health and neurodiverse needs of the service user, ensuring that any recommendations and reasonable adjustments are communicated to the court staff.
* Support the service user through the court process, providing advice and information to support onward decision making of those working within the court system.
* You will attend, chair and facilitate a number of healthcare meetings with the team/ external stakeholder groups and provide clinical supervision as required within the wider team.

Qualifications and skills required:
* Registered Nurse or Social Worker
* Current professional qualification (NMC or Social Worker Registration)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Excellent communication skills – including report writing
* Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practice
* Good IT skills and IT literacy
