This post is a Fixed Term or Secondment for 6 months until 31st March 2026 due to the needs of the service.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Policy & International Health Directorate.
This includes supporting the coordination of services, such as maintenance of facilities and materials, supporting the dissemination and coordination of resources, and planning meetings/events.
The postholder will be required to communicate and liaise with staff and members of partner organisations, produce work to deadlines, and ensure compliance with Public Health Wales policies.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the coordination and dissemination of resources using systems such as WordPress.
2. Processing orders of resources and supplies via the procurement system.
3. Coordinating translation requests.
4. Organising and supporting the planning of meetings, events, and conferences, including booking venues, taking minutes, arranging equipment, preparing documentation, registering delegates, and arranging refreshments.
5. Organising and processing hotel and travel arrangements.
6. Providing diary management services, resolving scheduling conflicts.
7. Supporting business and project processes.
8. Managing and maintaining office systems, ensuring information is securely stored, filed, and retrievable using SharePoint.
9. Providing comprehensive, accurate administrative support, including drafting letters and editing reports for high presentation standards.
10. Using MS Office Suite effectively, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
