Description
As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at our client sites. There will be a particular focus on Fire Safety and Fire Strategy in high occupancy buildings, and applicants must have relevant experience and qualifications in this area. Tasks will include conducting Fire Risk Assessments, H&S Risk Assessments, developing safety procedures and policies, and investigating incidents and accidents. You should be able to draw on your past experience and qualifications to provide guidance and support to senior individuals and be able to offer creative solutions to problems.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
1. Extensive experience in providing health and safety support
2. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
3. Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH)
4. Relevant Professional Memberships (e.g., CMIOSH, MIFireE, FIIRSM)
5. Experience in conducting audits and inspections
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Attention to detail and analytical thinking
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
