A bit about you
Lawton Brook is seeking a dynamic and driven
General Sales Manager
to lead our high-performing team and drive business success. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll oversee daily operations, coach and motivate the sales team, manage stock and purchasing, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the sales team.
* Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs, providing coaching and support.
* Oversee stock control, purchasing, and vehicle preparation.
* Drive performance through data, reporting, and management information.
* Represent Lawton Brook at promotional events and maintain high standards across all customer-facing areas.
* Collaborate with Oracle Finance to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and employment standards.
What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience leading a sales team in the prestige motor trade.
* Strong understanding of sales processes and performance management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
* Full UK driving licence.

What's on offer
A competitive basic salary of
£75,000
plus 10% pre-tax profit generated within Lawton Brook. On-target earnings (OTE) are expected to reach £100,000.
Our hours of work are predominantly Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend cover when required.
