As Construction Procurement Senior Consultant, responsibilities will include :
* Strategic Leadership: Lead in developing and executing construction procurement strategies that align with client objectives and project goals.
* NEC / JCT Contract Management: Manage bespoke NEC / JCT contracts, focused around improving commercial benefit for the organisation whilst maintaining high value-add for the client
* Supplier Relationships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery standards.
* Innovation Drive: Champion innovation in procurement processes and technologies, driving continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.
* Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
Construction Procurement Senior Consultant, Person Specification:
* Extensive experience in construction procurement, with a track record of success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Exposure to managing construction-specific contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC etc.). Any experience amending or creating bespoke NEC contracts is beneficial.
* Passion for procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on driving efficiency, cost savings, and value creation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
