The role will sit in the London Stop Smoking Team and support the set-up and the rollout of vaping provision throughout Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster for the ‘Swap to Stop’ programme. You will be providing continuous support for all partners involved in the programme through regular visits, emails, and phone calls. There will also be the opportunity to assist with the progress of the programme through monitoring and report writing alongside the Project Manager. A typical day as an Engagement Lead might include : Playing a key role in our co-production strategy, supporting the rollout of specialist stop smoking services with housing, maternity and voluntary & community sector organisations. Fostering strong links with community and voluntary organisations including; mental health, supported housing, substance misuse, hostels and other Local Authority commissioned services. Promote ‘Swap To Stop’ as an incentive for residents to quit smoking and reach our target number of Quit Dates Set. Supporting existing and newly trained community stop smoking advisors by providing face to face visits, telephone calls, emails and ongoing training, to allow them to support their service users to quit smoking. Supporting the rollout of the ‘Swap to Stop’ training and setting up the vaping provision across chosen organisations, keeping track of progress and reporting. Assist in the delivery of Very Brief Advice training and other relevant training to a range of organisations to ensure partners are up to date with how to assist their service users to quit smoking. Presenting the ‘Swap to Stop’ scheme in stakeholder meetings and local network forums in a respectable manner, reviewing and innovating existing stakeholder partnerships. Providing content for the Project Manager to feed in to service reports. Ensuring all relevant community partners have access to up to date and fully functional equipment, resources and materials. Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance. We’re looking for someone who has knowledge and experience in networking and partnership management. You will have led a project in the past (preferably in a healthy lifestyles environment) and can work autonomously.
