We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to focus on our exciting new business unit in Health following our recent acquisition of AdviseInc. This is a hybrid role based out of one of our NEC offices, with travel to customer sites. NECSWS has a strong reputation across the public sector, with a high level of wins within Health – and we’re keen to bring someone into the team who has a good understanding of finance. The role will predominantly involve supporting the sales process of NEC AdviseInc working closely with the CEO. This is our platform that helps #MakeSense of Global Healthcare Spend Data.

The key focus of the role will be to develop a set of strategic relationships at a senior level in Health – typically NHS Accounts, private healthcare and international. This will be to enable sales to be made into the market – with a particular focus on senior finance stakeholders. This will require relationship engagement at a senior level within the sector including the C-suite of ICBs such as CEO, CFO and Medical Directors in both ICBs and secondary care.

The Account Manager will also liaise with other sales, pre-sales and delivery staff within NECSWS to deliver revenue and develop the Account for NEC. They will be responsible for the target revenue associated with their territory, and also ensuring the CRM is maintained at all times for their accounts in line with the guidelines issued.

Main Responsibilities

* Develop current relationships with existing customers and create relationships with the Senior Management/Board executives, engaging consistently to meet expectations both pre and post sale, managing their expectations and ensuring delivery of promises.
* Generate opportunities for new or extended product sales, swap-outs, and solution development into assigned accounts.
* Ensure achievement of sales against targets and meet sales activity KPIs set during reviews.
* Develop and maintain a Pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that will deliver targeted revenue for your territory and contribute to the overall team sales number.
* Build long-term relationships with clients at strategic & influencing levels, ensuring timely response to enquiries.
* Develop Strategic opportunities in your accounts.
* Track projects through to completion, ensuring adherence to procedures and high-quality bid delivery in collaboration with bid and pre-sales teams.
* Understand and adhere to corporate policies, processes, and guidelines.
* Participate in meetings with internal and external partners and undertake training as directed.
* Contribute to a team-oriented culture, working efficiently and supporting self-development.
* Assist in resolving debts when requested, ensuring sales and services revenues meet targets, and maintain account awareness.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in software solution sales.
* Experience in health market sales, including NHS Trusts and ICBs; international health sales is a plus.
* Experience in developing health client accounts around software solutions.
* Engagement with senior management and purchasing decision makers, including CFOs, FDs, and Directors of Purchasing.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and close deals.
* Ability to build sustainable relationships with healthcare decision makers and proactively move opportunities forward.
* Ability to define requirements, translate into solutions, and evaluate sales options efficiently.
* Strategic focus — converting suspects into prospects and closing sales.
