The Governors of our caring and successful Primary School are seeking to appoint a Lunch Time Supervisory Assistant for October to join our hard-working and supportive school.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be willing to participate with games and activities, both in and outdoors.
2. Be a team player with good interpersonal skills
3. Be patient, caring, understanding, positive and supportive
4. Support pupils while they eat their lunch, making sure tables are clean and that water is available
5. Ensure table manners are maintained
6. Report and complete accident forms if necessary
7. Ensure that school discipline & Safeguarding policies are followed
8. Record inappropriate pupil behaviour and convey serious incidents to the class teachers
9. Maintain checks throughout the lunch break to ensure pupils are safe
10. Have good communication skills
11. Act as a positive role model
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our friendly, hardworking and committed team. The post will be offered in the first instance on a temporary contract for 6 months.
