Job Description
The Key responsibilities:
* Providing expert personal tax advice to a diverse client base.
* Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their tax affairs are correctly handled.
* Assisting in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly.
* Identifying tax planning opportunities to minimise client's tax liabilities.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
* Supporting the wider tax team with complex tax issues.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Personal Tax Consultant should have:
* A relevant tax or accounting qualification. (ATT/CTA)
* Proven experience in a tax consultancy role within a professional services environment.
* Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and its application to personal tax.
* A Self-starter with a with a high level of resilience and attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
