Hutcheon Mearns are supporting our Oil Services client to recruit a Skillpool Accountant on a full-time basis. This is a maternity cover contract role and will run for the initial period of 15 months. The role will be based from our clients office in Westhill. Hybrid working and a competitive salary are on offer. The Skillpool Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate financials for the Offshore Skillpool assigned to them. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, good SAP knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of detailed monthly management reports for assigned Skillpools. This will include variance analysis of actuals and forecasts including but not limited to Variance analysis of actuals and forecasts Preparation of annual budget and calculation of white book rates (WBR) for assigned Skillpools Monthly reconciliation of offshore travel costs within the Onboard Tracker system, liaising with relevant parties both internal and external to resolve any queries identified Assist the finance team to ensure compliance with the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements Skills and Experience: Educated to degree level in a relevant stream (Finance/Accounting/Business) Good working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft products A good team player with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with all levels in the organisation, internal and external Enhanced planning, problem-solving and organizational skills and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines Excellent analytical skills, and an ability to work with detail and high degree of accuracy To find out more and apply, please contact leah.mccreahutcheonmearns.co.uk or apply via the link below
