Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
Job Description:
Connect Appointments is working with a well-established manufacturing company in Kirkcaldy to recruit experienced Pipefitters for their growing team. This is a great opportunity for long-term work with excellent overtime potential.
What's on offer:
* £21.00 per hour - basic rate
* Overtime paid at up to £31.50 per hour
* Full-time hours - 37 hours per week
* Day shift, Monday to Friday
* Early finish on Fridays
Your duties will include:
* Reading and interpreting technical schematics and engineering drawings
* Trimming, cutting, and fitting components using hand and power tools
* Welding and soldering components accurately
* Aligning and securing parts with bolts, screws, or fasteners
* Using collaborative robots (cobots) to assist in production tasks
* Identifying and repairing faults in assemblies
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in mechanical assembly
* Proficiency with welding equipment and assembly tools
* Ability to understand technical documents and drawings
* Manual dexterity and a detail-oriented approach
* Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
* Good awareness of safety procedures and use of PPE
* UTR number required (must be provided if successful)
