We are seeking a talented Interior Designer who is enthusiastic about creating beautiful and functional spaces, particularly in kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. You will showcase design expertise and play a vital role in the sales process by effectively communicating the value of our services to customers, while delivering exceptional customer service. The role is primarily office-based with occasional visits to customer sites to better understand client needs and preferences.

Key requirements
* Must have a positive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
* Good spoken and written English
* Prior sales experience as an Interior Designer, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Passion for design with an understanding of current trends in kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom design
* Portfolio of completed projects showcasing creativity, technical skills, and ability to realise design concepts
* Clear communication and excellent customer service skills; ability to convey design ideas and build rapport with clients
* Active listening and attention to detail; ability to incorporate client preferences into design
* Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects
* Respect for differing opinions, styles, and budgets; capable of tailoring designs to client needs
* Ability to embrace and embody company values and culture
Main duties
* Provide outstanding 1-2-1 service to retail customers, building rapport to drive repeat business and referrals
* Engage with customers from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience
* Design kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms for customers in a face-to-face capacity, incorporating preferences and budgets
* Utilize in-store products to increase sales via upselling and cross-selling
* Offer guidance on latest products and designs, staying up-to-date with industry trends
* Provide a consultative service, listening to needs and tailoring design recommendations
* Explain product features, warranties, and installation requirements clearly
* Close sales after providing quotes, using persuasive selling techniques
* Visit customers at home for consultations and measurements
* Project management from concept to completion, coordinating with vendors and contractors
* Achieve sales and service targets, contributing to business growth and customer satisfaction
