Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Care Supervisor based in Kirkcaldy. The Care Supervisor will oversee care service delivery, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality and individualized care. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising care staff, conducting assessments and care reviews, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with care standards and protocols. The role also involves liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and clients to address care needs and quality improvements. You will play a key part in staff training and development, as well as supporting operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Experience in care delivery, including personal care, medication assistance, and daily living support
* Skills in staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management
* Knowledge of care standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, families, and professionals
* Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Ability to lead and support the professional development of teams
* Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (such as SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is preferred
* Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Experience in the care of older adults or individuals with additional support needs is an advantage
* Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are required
