Position: Geography Teacher

Pay: £160 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role
A secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a motivated Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This long-term opportunity will run until the end of the academic year in July 2027 and will involve teaching Geography to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that help students explore topics such as environmental change, global development, and physical landscapes. The school provides a range of teaching resources and departmental support to help ensure lessons are well-structured and impactful. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and overseas-trained teachers who are familiar with the UK curriculum.

Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent qualification.
Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote student participation.
Strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 is beneficial.
A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching.
