We are looking to appoint a salaried GP to join our established and supportive team, working across our 5,600-patient practice in Seaton and our branch surgery in Beer.
We are a training practice with established links to the University of Exeter and form part of the well-functioning TASC PCN. The practice supports involvement in research and further postgraduate development, where this aligns with your interests.
We aim to provide a sustainable workload through safe working principles and a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. Professional development is encouraged, and we are committed to creating a stable and respectful working culture.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
* Provide routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face, telephone and online).
* Undertake clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions.
* Prescribe safely and in line with local and national guidance.
* Manage pathology results, correspondence and other clinical administration.
* Contribute to the management of long-term conditions and preventative care.
* Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance and quality improvement activity.
* Support training and supervision where appropriate (as part of a training practice).
* Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and PCN colleagues.
