We are on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our IT Department as a First-Line Technical Support Engineer.
This role will provide first-line technical support to users, ensuring incidents and service requests are logged, resolved, or escalated efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities
* As a First-Line Technical Support Engineer, you will monitor and respond to user support requests submitted to the helpdesk
* Assist with IT issues via helpdesk, telephone or in person
* Categorise and prioritise incidents and service requests
* Escalate unresolved issues to second or third-line support as necessary
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions and resolutions
* Liaise directly with external providers to assist in resolving issues
* Take a lead role in setting up new starters and processing leavers
* Complete daily and weekly IT administration tasks accurately
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high level of user satisfaction

Working Hours
This role is full-time, based on 35 hours per week. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
We are also fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.
