The Role
As Head Concierge, you will be the face of guest services, responsible for curating exceptional experiences and leading a knowledgeable concierge team. You will anticipate guest needs, provide expert local recommendations, and ensure that every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a passion for service, strong local knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships with guests and local partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the concierge team, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times
*
Provide personalised recommendations and arrange bespoke experiences, including dining, activities, and transport
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, venues, and service providers
*
Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through proactive service
*
Oversee guest arrivals, departures, and VIP arrangements
*
Handle guest requests, special occasions, and last-minute arrangements with efficiency and discretion
*
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and experiences in and around Newquay
*
Collaborate with reception, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey
*
Ensure all concierge services reflect the brand’s luxury standards and attention to detail

Candidate Profile
*
Previous experience as a Concierge or Head Concierge within a luxury hotel environment
*
Exceptional knowledge of guest service standards and personalised hospitality
*
Strong leadership and team management skills
*
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
*
Well-connected with local knowledge or ability to quickly build strong local networks
*
Professional, discreet, and highly guest-focused
*
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and peak seasons
