We’re looking for a confident, commercially minded Communications Manager to join their close-knit and supportive communications team, working across a dynamic area of the organisation. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys creating compelling content from complex material, and has a solid understanding of business, trade, and regional media.
You’ll be joining a team of four communications & PR professionals and reporting into a senior communications lead who believes in giving people the space to own and drive their work — with guidance and support available when needed.
As their new Communications Manager you’ll:
* Lead on communications and PR planning and delivery for your area of the organisation.
* Deliver proactive and reactive press office activity, identifying media opportunities and managing incoming enquiries.
* Create compelling content such as press releases, articles, case studies, thought leadership pieces and award submissions — turning complex information into clear, engaging narratives.
* Work closely and confidently with internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted communications advisor.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts across business, trade and regional publications.
* Manage awards submissions — researching, planning and writing entries.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has strong B2B communications and/or PR experience, with an ability to shape stories from complex topics.
* Comes from a fast-paced agency or in-house communications environment.
* Is collaborative, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of communications activity.
