Team – Technology Operations
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about:
You will work on complex requirements from varying sources (Business, PMO, Technical), often supporting dependency and demand across a range of delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have an ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities and ensuring the required standards within the specific constraints of Time, Cost and Quality are met. As a Technical Delivery Manager your technical experience and leadership is key to managing the various inter dependencies of project deliverables across multiple releases. You will have a good understanding of a typical change function and the role it plays in Technology delivery, demonstrating experience and understanding of the roles of key stakeholders in change, including business, PMO and Run functions. Key Actions
1. Ensure service Providers and development / technology teams deliver on time while maintaining high quality standards.
2. Clear reporting, communication across multiple stakeholders including Project Managers, Development Managers, IT leadership and internal customers
3. Represent IT Technical solutions at Project and Steering Committee boards, ensuring clarity of progress and proactively resolving risks and issues.
4. Experienced in managing multiple medium complexity projects often with cross functional impact and multiple technical domains
5. Works independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations
6. Effective skills in communication, negotiation, and persuasion
7. Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions, solves complex problems, takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
8. Significant experience in a medium to large-sized IT department, and strong technical knowledge of IT functions, systems, applications, and processes, ideally with working background in these areas.
9. Project management qualifications or experience in environment using PRINCE 2 Foundation; PMP · Agile / Scrum Master qualifications etc
10. Demonstrable experience in coaching and mentoring
