Job Summary
Develops, manages, and executes project plans for construction projects for new facilities and expansions to existing facilities to meet safety, regulatory, customer, and internal requirements within schedule and cost parameters. Serves as main interface with regulatory agencies, government boards, and subcontractors and provides on-site leadership and guidance. Drives team to meet construction schedule and monitor progress. Provides executive summaries on project status to internal and external customers. Leads, manages, and directs the development and enablement of all internal and customer requirements to successfully launch and execute projects through the launch of a new facility or expansion of existing facilities.
Job Responsibilities
* Develops and manages project plans, milestones, and deliverables, including scope requirements, cost/budget adherence, schedule management, risk evaluation and mitigation, and quality management, ensuring customer and business requirements are fulfilled.
* Ensures strict adherence to schedule, budgets, quality, and safety standards.
* Provides project updates to teams, customers, and management, establishing collaborative relationships to promote sound project management principles.
* Monitors construction activities regularly, holds status meetings, and inspects sites. Assists with security approval processes related to project construction.
* Schedules and directs project meetings to monitor progress, ensure compliance, and safety.
* Prepares and presents progress reports on costs and schedules.
* Builds strong relationships with subcontractors and third parties to support project goals and resolves issues proactively.
* Demonstrates problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
* Develops solutions to critical business issues and presents alternatives.
* Communicates issues and strategies effectively.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
* At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing machine development, including troubleshooting, programming, and system design.
* US Person status per ITAR regulations and compliance with export requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with NPI, start-up facilities, or work transfer in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace manufacturing engineering.
* Excellent communication skills, customer service, supervision, estimating, safety, and quality commitment.
* Professional Engineering (P.E.) license desired; aerospace manufacturing construction experience; project management certification preferred.
* Experience in construction supervision and management, with knowledge of commercial construction methods for complex environments.
* Experience with large manufacturing facility moves or relocations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical skills for assessing project impacts and technical issues.
* Goal-oriented with strong interpersonal skills for remote and onsite communication.
* Experience with transformational manufacturing projects or complex launches.
Compensation Data
Salary Range: $84,048.00 - $126,071.00
