A UX Writer plays a pivotal role in crafting content that guides users through Booksy products and helps them maximize their potential. The role of a Technical Writer is to create clear and concise content that is simultaneously easy to understand and aligned with the Booksy brand voice and values. They collaborate closely with UX designers to ensure a coherent and user-friendly experience across all Booksy products.
Key Responsibilities
● Write accurate, clear, and concise product-related content to ensure the Booksy community understands the functionality and benefits of our solutions; ● Achieve a harmonious balance between engaging language and technical accuracy; ● Uphold and enhance our brand and copy guidelines, serving as the guardian of all product-related copy; ● Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, customer success, and marketing teams to create impactful language that guides users through product experiences; ● Collaborate with Technical Writers to provide support creating support content.
Hard skills and competencies requirements
● Hard skills : ○ Native or full professional English proficiency; ○ Strong writing and editing skills; ○ Understanding user behavior and preferences through research; ○ Familiarity with information architecture principles; ○ Knowledge of user-centered design principles; ○ Proficiency in tools used for creating wireframes and prototypes; ○ Ability to create or contribute to content design systems; ○ Ability to take ownership of the content creation process.
