We are looking for Information & Reporting Analysts to support our BI team with our organisational reporting and data analysis requirements.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will be working closely with the Business Analyst, Head of BI, Contracting and the Head of Finance to ensure that all reporting and data analysis requirements are completed in a timely and efficient manner, whilst ensuring the information accuracy and completeness.
The postholder will be responsible for submitting range of datasets and reports to meet the organisational contractual requirements as well as responding to ad-hoc requests for analysis.

* Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
* Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
* A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
* Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
* Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Job Description

* Assist with the co-ordination and production of monthly operational and strategic reports under the supervision and instruction of senior members of the team, producing and communicating this information quickly and accurately at all levels.
* Support monitoring and selected contractual reporting, as per schedules.
* Facilitate and co-ordinate the collation of complete accurate and timely information.
* Support production of ad-hoc reports as requested by member of the operations and finance team
* Support the bi-annual profitability reviews by producing analysis and summary reports, support finance team members during the meetings by taking notes and following up on action items.
* To assist the BI analysts in updating, checking, and monitoring a range of data sets derived from the database, including extracting, and producing analytical reports and analysis as required.
* Work with and support the BI Analyst and the Head of Finance in the development of the BI function - become involved with and contribute to Business Intelligence solutions to reporting issues.
* Whilst carrying out reporting, identify and investigate inconsistencies in data to improve data quality, ensure that action is taken to rectify issues identified.
* Support completing the data check / reconciliation of data submissions to commissioners.
* Respond to ad-hoc requests for information as directed. Advise the person making the request as to the best way to provide the information. Utilise available technologies and software to present the information in an appropriate format.
* Prioritise, manage, and plan own workload to meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines.

Person Specification:
Knowledge
* Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
* Knowledge of administrative procedures, particularly in invoice processing and payroll administration
Skills:
· Confident in working with data, experience in using excel to intermediate/advanced level
· Confident in data manipulation and report presentation with good eye for detail
· Experience with SQL desirable
· Understanding of database concepts and design
Personal Qualities:
· Self-Motivated and Self-directed
· Well organised, methodical and detail oriented
· Analytical and Numeric skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills to individuals at all levels within and outside of the organisation

Salary is dependent on experience and is WTE
