IT Support Specialist (Mac Based) - Global Executive Advisory Business
Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)
£50-£60k (dependent on experience) + Bonus & Benefits

The Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing IT procedures and delivering best-practice solutions across the organisation. Acting as the first point of contact for end-user support, you'll troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while collaborating with the wider IT team to enhance service delivery.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, with the ability to listen, problem-solve, and provide an exceptional user experience. The environment is primarily Mac-based, so strong experience in macOS and MDM solutions such as Jamf or Kandji is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as primary contact for Tier 1/desktop support, including account access, applications, and peripheral connectivity.
2. Troubleshoot and manage profiles, policies, and configurations using MDM tools.
3. Support and educate users on conference room equipment.
4. Escalate issues and coordinate hardware lifecycle management with Tier 2+ support.
5. Manage warranty repairs with Apple/Microsoft.
6. Maintain accurate departmental documentation.
7. Ensure compliance with security team requirements and communicate these effectively to end users.
About You
8. Strong macOS expertise with MDM administration (Kandji preferred).
9. Previous IT team experience, ideally with help desk/ticketing systems.
10. Confident supporting both Mac and Windows 10 environments.
11. Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-first approach.
12. Strong time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
13. Knowledge of Google Workspace and Chrome browser management.
14. Familiarity with one or more of: Zoom, Sophos Central, Meraki Networking, Okta, Office 365, FreshService.
15. Scripting experience a bonus.
16. Degree-level education preferred.
