We’re seeking a permanent Mobile Street Cleansing Operative to join our dedicated team serving a variety of urban and rural locations across the Harrogate area.
This is your chance to be part of a hardworking crew that values commitment, teamwork, and community impact.
The Role
As part of our Waste and Street Scene team, you will be:
* Driving up to a 3.5-ton vehicle
* Litter picking and emptying of litter and dog waste bins
* Contributing to delivering a high standard of service to residents, with a strong focus on customer care
We can offer you a standard working pattern of 6am to 4pm over a 4-day working week.
Optional overtime is available on an ad hoc basis.
What you will bring
The successful candidate will:
* Have an enthusiastic and committed approach to street cleansing work
* Be capable of working independently and using own initiative
* Hold a strong understanding of the importance of customer care
* Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and out-of-hours when needed
* Hold a current driving licence
