We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our client based near Alderley Edge. This is a full time permanent role working Monday – Friday 9-5pm.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Process purchase orders
* Process and check invoices against orders
* Acting as the main point of contact for all queries
* Creditor statement reconciliations
* Support with system change
* General admin to support the wider team
Requirements
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes within the financial services sector.
