The role

– Sales Office Administrator

Reporting to the Transactional Sales Team Leader, your role will be to assist in the effective and efficient running of key accounts in order to satisfy customer requirements and to ensure continued sales growth. This is not a targeted sales role and is very much an administrative role within the sales department / team.

Duties will include

1. Promptly responding to customer enquiries.
2. Answering department calls in a timely and professional manner.
3. Accurately processing sales orders.
4. Logging and following up quotations.
5. Account managing top clients to maintain strong levels of business
6. Assisting the Account Managers with their workloads.
7. Working closely with your Team Leader and the Sales Manager to find new ways of building new and existing business – account managing

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

8. Ideally, you will have a background of working within a sales administration based role within an office
9. You must have experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
10. Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
11. You will need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in order to be able to communicate and build good relationships with external and internal customers.
12. You will need to be able to work to deadlines in a busy and friendly environment
