Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Outreach Worker to work within a street-based outreach service in the Bristol area, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Role Details:
* Location: Bristol
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week
* Pay Rate: £15.95 per hour +HP
Please note, this is a street outreach role involving regular travel across Bristol to support clients within the community. Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting initial street-based assessments for new rough sleepers and ongoing casework
* Planning and organising outreach shifts using referral and mapping data
* Supporting clients into accommodation and relevant services via the Pathway
* Organising annual street counts and mapping hotspot areas
* Attending multi-agency meetings and liaising with partner organisations
* Supporting access to accommodation, health services, housing advice, and day centres
* Leading on crisis intervention work alongside the Team Manager
* Contributing to service development in line with strategies such as No Second Night Out
* Supporting cold weather provision and outreach initiatives
* Assisting with monitoring service expenditure and volunteer timesheets.
