Are you looking to advance your career in the Control & Automation components industry? You will be working for a fast-growing manufacturer and become an integral part of their sales team as an Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands & North West regions.
My client manufacture a comprehensive range of Control & Automation Components and work with a wide network of Wholesale customers.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of customer interactions.
* Be technically knowledgeable about all product lines sold by the business.
* Pre-qualify requests for quotations with calls where appropriate.
* Follow, plan, and execute nationwide sales strategies.
* Follow up on visits and maintain records of your sales pipeline.
* Maintain CRM records for discounts, contacts, and carriage for any customer you interact with.
* Comfortably call non-buying, turned down, and new customers to arrange initial meetings.
* Actively promote product benefits and value statements on LinkedIn.
* Plan and execute marketing events throughout the financial year.
* Take ownership of assigned accounts, monitor quotes, orders, and delivery issues, and visit customers regularly to stay informed about their business.
Qualifications:
* HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (Not essential)
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions.
* Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Strong communication skills.
