What you will do: Supervise and guide the Adult Services team to achieve business objectives for your designated team. Conduct effective appraisals and supervision to continuously improve council services. Ensure compliance with national and local Safeguarding Adults policies and legislation. Support team members in maintaining high professional standards. Promote a strengths-based model of self-directed support to empower service users and carers. Supervise selected staff, manage work allocation, and oversee performance. Be financially astute, ensuring projects remain within budget while maximising independence for service users. Develop high standards of service delivery in collaboration with your Team Manager. Collaborate using a multi-disciplinary approach in line with integration plans across Hackney. Assist the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker in balancing development and practice work priorities. Contribute actively to the development of Quality Assurance Frameworks and collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team.
