I'm recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a well-established and respected manufacturing business based in Pickering.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with factory or machining experience who's keen to develop new skills, work with specialist equipment and be part of a company that truly values craftsmanship and precision.
As a Factory Operative you will be:
* Supporting production processes across the workshop.
* Using specialist tools such as height gauges to check quality standards and making adjustments with hand and power tools.
* Assisting machine operatives and preparing materials for machining tasks.
* Testing components using water pressure tanks to ensure high standards of quality and durability.
* Learning specialist machining techniques such as lost wax casting, acid dipping, and braze welding full training provided)
What We're Looking For:
* Previous factory or machining experience – whether you've worked in general manufacturing, metalwork, or precision engineering.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
* Confidence using tools and working around machinery.
* A proactive and positive work ethic.
* Willingness to learn new technical processes and support skilled operatives.
