About the role…
To lead the coordination of business resources.
The Senior Contract Co-ordinator will oversee planning, compliance, and operational execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, profitably, and to the highest client and regulatory standards.
This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, mentors junior staff, and maintains strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and contract success.
This is a Full-time role covering Maternity leave based!
As a Contract Coordinator you will…
Manage and oversee client-specific electronic business portals to extract, prioritise, and allocate work effectively.
Review, quality-check, and approve work pack documentation before assignment.
Assign resources based on skills, qualifications, geography, and contract requirements.
Prepare, submit, and track complex licensing and permitting applications with local authorities.
Lead project kick-offs ensuring all safety, regulatory, and operational considerations are addressed.
Ensure all work packs are clear, compliant, and fully scoped before issuing to field teams.
Build and maintain close working relationships with subcontractors, resolving issues proactively.
Collate, verify, and report on completed work data in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage start-to-finish job delivery, ensuring continuous communication and proactive updates to clients.
Produce and present detailed performance, operational, and commercial reports to management and clients.
About you…
Qualifications: GCSE or equivalent required; higher education in business administration or project coordination desirable. Full driving license essential.
Experience: Proven background in work planning, project coordination, or operations support. Skilled in leading or mentoring teams, interpreting data, managing client expectations, and understanding contract delivery and profitability.
Technical & Industry Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office and work management systems. Solid grasp of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. Experience in utilities, infrastructure, scaffolding, or civil engineering is a plus
