About the Trust
Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust (OLICAT) is a growing Catholic Multi Academy Trust situated in the northern half of the Catholic Diocese of Northampton. The Trust currently includes ten Catholic primary schools located across the geographical area of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, as well as two Catholic secondary schools, St Thomas Becket in Northampton and St Thomas More in Bedford.

Role Overview
The Trust Lead for Catholic Life and Mission is a key role within the Trust, shaping Catholic education across the schools and supporting leaders, chaplaincy and religious education networks.
Responsibilities
* Provide formation for school leaders.
* Support the Trust Chaplaincy Network and Trust RE Leads Network.
* Develop Catholic Social Teaching.
* Advise schools on all aspects of Catholic education, including support for inspection.
* Maintain liaison with the Diocese of Northampton.
* Support and enable Trust schools to deliver an excellent Catholic education for all pupils.
Working Arrangement
The role is currently fulfilled by one person working two days a week, with potential for a full‑time role or partnership with a secondary RE teacher. The Trust is open to different modes of fulfilling the role, such as a school leadership secondment or dual‑person part time.
NOTE: The current Trust Lead is retiring; this new role will continue the work of supporting Catholic education within the Trust.
