The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

As we move towards the vision of trainee pharmacists being prescriber-ready upon registration by 2026, NHS Tayside has a unique opportunity for a dynamic pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Education & Training (E&T) team.

Working in partnership with NHS Education for Scotland, Schools of Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy Employers and NHS Tayside teams, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of pharmacy education.

This full-time position includes 4 sessions for practice in a GP clinical pharmacy setting and you will be supported to develop your practice across the four pillars of core advanced practice.

Key responsibilities:

* Expand the EL programme and supervision infrastructure over the next 3 years.
* Review and enhance the modular foundation training programme.
* Support delivery of wider education and training across NHS Tayside
* Ensure quality monitoring and development of both student and trainee pharmacist programmes.

Has excellent communication, team-working & time management skills
Is passionate about supporting learners and driving educational innovation.

This role is perfect for a pharmacist who is passionate regarding the advancing practice of pharmacists across all sectors especially Primary care and Community Pharmacy. If helping others to succeed is important to you, apply now to join us in shaping the future of pharmacy education across NHS Tayside.
