GSL Education are currently seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield (S11). Role Overview: As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalised lessons designed to meet the unique needs of pupils with a range of additional learning needs. You will foster a nurturing environment that supports both academic and personal growth, working closely with support staff and families to achieve the best outcomes for students. As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage learners. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare. Requirements for SEN Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist setting. Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and differentiated teaching. Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
